About the Role:

As an Interior Designer, you will thrive off working on your own initiative, operating both autonomously and collaboratively as part of the wider Design & Delivery team. You will envision, design and document interior spaces for both new and existing Cachet client’s while working closely with the delivery team to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.


You will play a pivotal role in the success of our client’s interior spaces, working on multiple projects both as a design lead and alongside the Melbourne Lead Designer. This includes attending regular client meetings to provide updates on the status of projects, producing effective presentation and communication collateral and working with the design team to collaborate on concept and spatial planning ideas. As an Interior Designer, you will work closely with the design team and our clients to drive and manage design expectations and outcomes, overall contributing to the success of our business.

About You:

You will have a hands-on approach whilst instilling a “can do attitude” being both responsive and proactive, all while having the drive to continue to grow through design research / intelligence and stay current on industry trends.

  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in a similar position (using Revit software)- strong knowledge & understanding of the Design industry (D&C preferably)
  • Skills in Revit (essential) and Adobe InDesign (preferred)
  • Impeccable communication & relationship skills with internal & external stakeholders at various levels.
  • Confident & highly competent presentation abilities, comfortable in front of Senior Stakeholders both internal & external
  • Creative skills with an ability to conceptualise and communicate ideas effectively.
  • Ability to work in fast paced, challenging and highly rewarding environment.
  • Workplace / office fit-out experience ideally

  • Ability to design and schedule projects from beginning to end
  • Good product knowledge and supply chain contacts
