About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and oversee complex projects across multiple business units, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work strategically with leadership, cross-functional teams, clients, and key stakeholders to align project goals with organisational objectives. This role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills to effectively manage resources, drive project success, and mentor junior project team members.
Responsibilities:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive project management programs that encompass multiple projects or portfolios. You will lead and mentor project teams and junior project managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. You will oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and financial forecasting across multiple projects, ensuring optimal utilisation and ROI. Strategic communication with stakeholders is crucial, as you will provide high-level updates on project status, risks, and milestones to ensure alignment with business objectives. You will also develop and implement risk management strategies across the project portfolio to minimise impact on the organisation. Ensuring that all project deliverables meet the highest quality standards and exceed client expectations is essential, as is establishing and maintaining best practices in project documentation and methodologies across the organisation.
