Global audit, tax, and consulting firm RSM has a growing presence in New Zealand, which led to their new workspace requirement to unite their Auckland team in a central city base.

Uniting their team in one location, their office has been designed with a clear goal; to create a workspace that strengthens collaboration across the business and to reflect the reputation and professionalism of the global firm. The new location signals a shift towards greater visibility in the CBD and a more collaborative way of working that brings people together, strengthens everyday connection, and places the firm closer to the clients they serve.

Cachet worked with RSM as a guide and trusted advisor to provide a seamlessly integrated design and delivery process. The new 670sqm workplace developed in partnership with Invesco is located at 125 Queen Street – a prominent address that gives a strong presence in the centre of Auckland, improving access for clients and staff.

The design reflects RSM’s professional identity. Planning is functional and clear. Work zones support focused tasks, group discussion, and moments of quiet. Refined detailing helps create a calm and consistent environment.

The front of house balances presence and practicality, giving clients a setting that feels confident and welcoming. A large boardroom with an operable wall adapts to different uses. Client meetings, workshops, and internal events are all supported within the same footprint. A generous town hall area allows the full team to gather for updates, training, and celebrations. Acoustic separation reduces disruption, and glass partitions maintain visibility across the floor.

Front of house areas capture wide views across central Auckland. This positions RSM with a strong local identity while offering clients a clear sense of arrival. Throughout the open plan, smaller rooms give partners and staff access to quiet spaces for calls, concentrated work, or small group collaboration.

Storage, technology integration, and lighting are planned for daily use. Traffic flows are simple and minimise unnecessary movement across the floor. Furniture supports posture and comfort. The workspace is built for longevity and easy adaptation as the team grows.
