Lendi Group’s Melbourne office was ready for a new chapter. Their previous space no longer reflected who they were or how they worked. The scope was a complete workplace refurbishment on a considered budget and tight timeline, which meant every decision had to earn its place. The brief to Cachet was not to start from scratch but deliver an office that’s functionally smarter and visually stronger.
At 710 sqm, the office needed to work for two distinct brands under one roof – Lendi Group and Aussie Home Loans – without either feeling like a guest in the other’s space. Colour, graphics and signage became the tools for threading both identities through the environment in a way that felt expressive and intentional. A deliberately neutral base palette kept things grounded, letting each brand’s colours do the talking where it counted most.
We opened the layout to become lighter, cleaner, and easier to move through. The arrival experience sets the tone, with bold signage, digital displays and oversized graphics signalling from the moment you walk in that this isn’t a typical corporate reception.
From there, the space unfolds across a range of zones designed around the realities of the working day. The Flight Deck offers unassigned desks with ergonomic tools and acoustic layering for those who need to focus without being isolated. The Quiet Side gives people room to think and breathe, with focus rooms and soft zones for concentrated or private work. Three connected flex rooms, separated by folding doors and supported by integrated AV and lighting, shift easily between training sessions, workshops and collaborative work.
Anchoring it all is The Commons – a generous breakout space that moves between kitchen, event zone and collaborative hub. This area was a particular priority for Lendi and is the natural heart of the office. It’s comfortable, social, and has a view worth looking up for. The kind of space that quietly encourages people to pause, connect and come back tomorrow.
The result is an office refurbishment that proves meaningful transformation doesn’t require a blank slate. Thoughtful adjustments to layout and a considered approach to finishes were enough to turn a space into one that feels genuinely welcoming. For a team built around Keeping Home Loans Human, Lendi’s Melbourne workspace now reflects exactly that – adaptable, optimistic, and grounded in the everyday experience of the people who use it most.
