As part of a national MSA partnership, Cachet recently designed and delivered a 1,230 sqm workplace refurbishment for Aussie Broadband in Melbourne, transforming an existing tenancy into a sensory-rich, brand-aligned environment that enhances both people and performance.
Sensory design was central to this project. By thoughtfully engaging the full range of human experience touch, sound, sight and spatial flow we created a workplace that positively influences behaviour, emotion, focus and wellbeing.
Muted tones, acoustic treatments, abundant greenery, and dedicated quiet zones were integrated to reduce overstimulation and improve the day to day experience. Inspired by Aussie Broadband’s brand identity, a green pathway meanders through the workspace, creating a physical and visual link between teams while aiding wayfinding and spatial flow.
Secure back of house areas were incorporated into the existing Symbio tenancy, while front-of-house spaces including reception, boardroom, and meeting rooms underwent significant refurbishment to align with Aussie Broadband’s refreshed brand.
Consistent FF&E, integrated AV and technology solutions, and adherence to a national design style guide ensured continuity across the broader workplace portfolio reinforcing brand identity while delivering on functionality.
This fitout represents more than just a refurbishment it’s a strategic evolution of space that puts people and sensory wellbeing at the centre of the office design.
