ABOUT THE ROLE

About The Role
As a Senior Interior Designer at Cachet Group, you will lead the design and delivery of commercial workplaces across New Zealand. You will guide projects from early strategy and briefing through to documentation and site delivery. Working closely with clients, consultants and our in house project teams, you will shape environments that balance brand, function and performance. You will mentor designers and set the standard for quality, clarity and detail across every stage.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead projects from concept to completion, aligning design intent with client objectives and budget
• Facilitate client workshops and briefings to define vision, scope and priorities
• Develop strong design narratives supported by plans, 3D views, mood boards and material selections
• Prepare and review documentation to ensure buildability and coordination with consultants
• Present design solutions with confidence and respond to feedback with clear rationale
• Guide and support junior designers, reviewing work and driving continuous improvement
• Stay informed on workplace strategy, materials and technology to inform project outcomes

About You
You are an experienced commercial designer who combines creativity with delivery focus. You think strategically, communicate clearly and take ownership of outcomes. You enjoy working alongside project managers and consultants to bring ideas to life on site.

• Minimum five years experience in commercial interior design, with a strong built portfolio
• Advanced capability in Revit, AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite
• Proven experience leading client relationships and coordinating consultants
• Strong understanding of materials, detailing and construction processes
• Confident presenter with clear written and verbal communication
• Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Committed to collaboration, quality and practical design solutions
