About the Role:

As a Bid Writer at Cachet Group, you will play a key role in securing new business by producing compelling, high-quality bids and proposals. You will work closely with the business development team, project managers, and subject matter experts to create well-crafted documents that clearly articulate our solutions, capabilities, and value propositions. This position requires excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to tailor content to meet the specific requirements of each opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of bid responses, proposals, and tender submissions from start to finish.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information, ensuring all content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with client requirements.
  • Develop compelling narratives that effectively communicate our company’s strengths, solutions, and differentiators.
  • Ensure bids are compliant with all client specifications, deadlines, and formatting guidelines.
  • Edit and proofread bid documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and high standards of quality.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to incorporate feedback and refine bid submissions.
  • Track and monitor tender opportunities, managing the bid process from opportunity identification to submission.
  • Maintain a library of templates, case studies, and other bid-related resources to streamline future submissions.
  • Continuously seek ways to improve the bid writing process and increase win rates.

About You:

You will be a highly organized, detail-oriented Bid Writer with a knack for crafting persuasive content and a strong understanding of the tender process. Your ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and creativity will be essential in driving our success.

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in bid writing or a similar role – preferably within the construction, design, or related industries.
  • Strong written communication skills with an ability to tailor content to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing and responding to bids, tenders, and proposals in a competitive environment.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, understanding and capturing key elements of the business offering.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all aspects of bid preparation.
  • Knowledge of bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and highlight key differentiators for clients.
